1 seconds ago This is a new programme and is filmed from the air first, then they go down to ground to take a look. Well worth downloading the last two episodes to watch if you haven't already. It had Rhynie and Tap o North Hill in it last week. It also showed the Wallago (spelling?) Steps in Caithness. These are not often shown due to safety reasons and are not mentioned in ant tourist information leaflets. The reason, it is a cliff with speps built into the side and at the bottom a big cliff where boats landed the fish. It is a big drop into the sea and no hand rails or life safety equipment is there. The life boat is a long way off as well (Wick) and would take over half an hour to get there. After setting off from Wick at full power. It might take a lot longer if the sea was rough. It has shown a few places I knew about but not been to yet. So good on it and it shows a lot of things from the air that you don't see from the ground. Things from the past like old houses and villages, then they go to have a look with the story to go with it.
I saw it and the info about Rhynie as well, but I dozed and missed the start, so I will have to watch it again! The last programme was good as well, if you can download it, it is worth watching. Another one worth watching is The World from Space. Maybe not quite so good but they show why some things are and how they came about. Scotland from the air is well worth watching
